What is InstaDerby?

InstaDerby is your daily window into the world where you can share, discover recognize and connect with other Instagramers, anywhere. And try to take better pics than them... Game on.

Who are we?

We're thinkers, doers, photographers, musicians, artists and interwebsists. We really like hot dogs.
We love meeting new people and seeing the world through different lenses, which is why we’re obsessed with Instagram.
We’re not such a fan of turtle necks because it feels like a sweater is trying to slowly cut off circulation to our brains.
We like to play.

What's the point?

How does it work?

Every Monday morning we will release a theme that will run for a full week. To participate, simply Instagram a photo that relates to the theme and hash tag it with #instaderby #(theme of the week). Then visit InstaDerby.com to view your submission and see how people from all over interpreted the same theme.

Share your photos with friends, co-workers, random people on the street, etc. to collect more votes. Winning photographers will be featured on the home page the following week and will be forever revered in history aka on our Leaderboard.

How do I get more votes?

By sharing, tweeting and encouraging your friends, family, co-workers, pets, landlords, etc to vote for your pic!

I want badges!

InstaDerby has three tiers of Stallion-dom:

• Gold – 1,000 total votes
• Silver – 500 total votes
• Bronze – 100 total votes
• Hay – munch on this while you make your way to bronze

Are there prizes?

Heck yes, there are!
We've partnered with our favorite Instagram-inspired companies to award our winning Stallion each week.
We're always on the lookout for more, so hit us up and let us know if there’s anything you’d like to see.

Can I submit more than one photo each week?

Do we like ice cream? Yes! Submit as many photos as you like, as long as they capture the theme of the week.

How many times can I vote?

You can vote once per image per day for as many pics as you like.

Can I win more than once?

Yes, if your pics are mucho magnificent you’ve got a great shot of winning and/or lighting up the Leaderboard.

Is it possible for the same person to win more than once?

Do we like ice cream? Yes, if your pics are mucho magnificent, why not get cozy in the hall of fame?
